Ocean Club and Ocean Club West Resort 02/23/2004

We had a studio room, kitchenette with full size fridge and a washer/dryer (this was a surprise b/c the website does not include this in the room description). The large screened in terrace had a table, two chairs and a padded chaise, also a ceiling fan which was great in the middle of the day. we weren't sure if we would like the screening on the terrace, but it was great at night to be able to sit out with the light on, and not have to worry about the skeeters. Also, to be able to leave the sliders open whenever was a plus. We were on the east side of the property, but the construction on that side didn't disturb us but a little - mostly just the trucks leaving at the end of the day. One thing that i loved was that there were always plenty of beach towels, all day long. We also never had a problem getting beach chairs or umbrellas. Over the President's weekend it did get a little crowded, but that was expected. The restaurant had good food, and the service was very good, great smoothies at the bar too. We plan on returning.
