I am very mixed with my feelings about our stay at the Sibonne. I will say if you have been on this island before and do your own thing you will have no problem here. If you are used to a helpful friendly front desk this is NOT the place for you. Walk right next door to the Sands, their front desk help was amazing, always friendly and very helpful. They helped us every day with anything we needed even knowing we were not staying there. The Sibonne will only call for taxis and that is it. They do not help with anything else, will not make calls of any kind for you including a call to the Gecko bus.
That being said, the Sibonne has a lovely beach area that was always quiet. The views there were very nice and the restaurant Bay Bistro was very good. The bar was also nice...Junior is the bartender and we found him to be very friendly.
The rooms at Sibonne are average, nothing fancy. Our a/c went out and they moved us to the villa apt they have. This is a lovely apt and the pictures on the web site do not do it justice.
Also beware of the call charges from your room...boy do they add up quickly.
We would not go back to the Sibonne because we prefer a more helpful, friendly atmosphere...if we returned to this island we would stay at the Sands next door. The warm and friendly way they helped left a big impression and we would go back there. Also there is a lot of construction on-island so probably wouldn't venture back for quite a few years.
