Serving French fare with a decidedly Caribbean flare, Barrel Stay is located right on the beach in Sandy Ground. Try the Anguillan pumpkin soup that comes with a crisp toasted wasabi flute as a starter. Or the famous fish soup which, some say, is not to be missed. Follow up with the mahi mahi fillet served with a fennel and coriander risotto, red pepper essence, courgette and carrot ribbons. They also have a nice selection of meat dishes and outstanding desserts. There's a full bar and extensive wine list.

Big Jim's is THE place to visit for outstanding barbecued ribs, chicken and johnny cakes. This is where the locals go to eat. Some say his barbecue is the best in, not only Anguilla, but the world!

A nice little French bistro that offers classic fare such as a creamy goat cheese terrine, a lovely duck breast served with a honey lavender sauce and their famous creme brulee. To add to the great food is the excellent service and fine wine list.

An elegant restaurant housed in an Anguillan historic house from the 1700's. The menu selections are based on the freshest Caribbean ingredients and presented with outstanding West Indian charm. Besides the standards for breakfast, try the fried fish and johnny cakes served with bush tea. For lunch theres a delicious marinated conch salad on the menu. And at dinner try the trigger fish in "island-flavoured" sauce with sweet potatoes and spiced rice. Artist Susan Croft has adorned the walls with her sunny island murals.

A new Japanese restaurant that offers a nice variety of sushi, sashimi and hot dishes. The decor follows the Japanese theme and the service is efficient and friendly. A favorite is the tuna tartar. They also offer an interesting three course menu. Take-out also available.
