Fête des Quartiers du Nord
The festivities Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30, were held both in Colombier and Flamands. In years past, the entire festival took place on the beach in Flamands. However, for the past two years, A.S.C.C.O. has hosted the majority of the activities on its grounds in Colombier. A belote competition kicked off Saturday's activities at 9:00 AM, followed by various games for children and adults, food and drink, a petanque competition on the court in Flamands, and traditional theater pieces in patois followed by a dance presentation. The festival closed Saturday night with music and dancing. On Sunday, a regatta of the traditional sailboats of St. Barts arrived at the beach of Flamands around 11:30 am.
