Yet Another DVD about St Barth!
In addition to De Mémoire d'Anciens, which premiered at the St Barth Film Festival in April 2007, and the new DVD Saint Barthélémy: Cap Paradis by Pierre Brouwers, word of another DVD about St Barth has surfaced: L'Ile Amicale - Den Vanliga On. This DVD is actually a home movie taken by a Swedish baron who visited St Barth in the winter of 1951-1952. There is no verbal audio, only background music, but the scenery from 55 years ago will show you a different island. The DVD can be purchased at Nils Dufau's shop, which is a standalone building next to the gas station in St Jean.
