  • Au Port (590-590) 27-62-36
Enjoy French Creole cooking with homestyle generosity. Begin with the delicious fish chowder and continue with crayfish in green curry sauce or succulent duckling served with a sweet honey-butter sauce. Reservations recommended.
  • The Hideaway, Chez Andy
  • Le Mandala (590-590) 27-96-96
Located high above the harbor, Thai and European cuisine are the mainstays here. Crayfish tempura with mango salad and coriander sauce, island-spiced rack of lamb, and fish served with a ginger vinaigrette are but a few. In addition, they're specialty is Spanish tapas.
  • Maya's
  • Le Patio (590-590) 27-70-67
Offering classic Italian cuisine, dine in the romantic interior or on the terrace with views of the bay. Renowned for it's antipasto and everything from unusual pizza to saltimbocca Romana.
  • Le Sapotillier (590-590) 27-60-28
French cuisine at it's finest. Delicacies such as imported young pigeon, frog's legs and a snail lasagna with walnuts, spinach and Roquefort sabayan make for an interesting meal. Delight in the black-and-white chocolate mousse for dessert.
  • Le Tamarin (590-590) 27-72-12
Relax at this informal open-air eatery that serves French-Creole food. While waiting for a seat, stretch out in one of the hammocks and enjoy the island breezes. Light summer fare prepared with the freshest ingredients.
  • Terrazza
  • Wall House
  • West Indes Café (590-590) 27-64-80
Overlooking the bay dine on a fricassee of lobster flambéed in rum and top it off with the chilled soufflé with nougat and ginger. Stay for the cabaret in tribute to the Parisian impresario, Jean Marie Riviére.
