Dining Update
-Once upon a time, not too long ago, there was an excellent restaurant in Grand Cul de Sac right on the edge of the sea called La Gloriette. Not only did the restaurant serve delicious food, they made and continue to make and sell one of the best vanilla rums on the island. The latest rumor is that the former owner's daughter is planning to reopen the restaurant. La Gloriette was just next door to Cocolobo, also owned by Albert, but a more casual, outdoor restaurant with tables in the sand under sea grapes and palm trees. Speculation is that if La Gloriette reopens, it will be more along the lines of Cocolobo.
-Le Tamarin has reopened and is now being run by Toff, who ran La Mandala in Gustavia.
-The restaurant Le Sapotillier in Gustavia has recently reopened under new ownership and is now called Patou et Nono.

-Doe Brazil, the restaurant that overlooks Shell Beach in Gustavia, has two new owners: Serge Adelski and Xavier Pignet. After many vacations on the island, they have realized their dream of living there. Recognizing the long success of the restaurant under the former ownership of Boubou, they aren't planning to make changes. The restaurant is open daily from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm and is a wonderful spot for lunch or sunset cocktails followed by dinner.
