New Boardwalk is Complete
Earlier this year, hurricane Omar destroyed the wooden boardwalk along the harbor in Gustavia. Now, after four months of work, the new stone-surfaced boardwalk is complete. The goal was to have this completed in time for the high season. I know that many women will appreciate how much easier it is to walk on the new boardwalk while wearing heels than on the wooden boardwalk, which could be treacherous if a heel got caught between the boards!
