New Building Opens at the Hospital
One year later than originally thought, the new building at the hospital in Gustavia opened its doors on December 5. At a cost of around 3.5 million euros, the new two-level building houses the pharmacy and other technical offices on the ground level and 18 beds on the second level. The second phase is scheduled to begin in February, 2010, and will focus on updating the original portion of the hospital. When completed it will house a general-purpose room, administrative offices and a meeting room.
