Big news for those of you who have shopped at Match, the large, upscale grocery store across from the airport: As hard as it is to believe, Match is planning to close at the end of March. It will be replaced by a French grocery store called Super U, which is part of the Système U corporation. Word is that the merchandise will remain the same, but their web site says that they also carry electrical goods, clothing and some "do-it-yourself" supplies. If you want a souvenir, Match is currently giving away their sturdy, large plastic shopping bags. Wonder if Super U will continue to have a variety of patés, a huge selection of French cheeses and a great wine selection.
