Winair, the main airline flying between St Maarten's Princess Juianna International Airport and St Barth is now charging $16 to use Mastercard or Visa and $20 for Amex and Discover. I still say that as long as you don't get seasick, the ferry is a good option. The Great Bay Express, which leaves from Philipsburg, takes only 45 minutes to make the crossing and is considerably smoother than the Voyager, which leaves out of Marigot and takes 75 minutes.
