The Bucket Committee's Annual Gift to the Hospital
The St Barth Bucket brings together some of the most magnificent sailing yachts in the world. However, it is also a charitable event. In 2008, the committee donated 175,000 dollars to purchase emergency equipment for the hospital. In 2009, they purchased 20 computers. They have also given donations to the rescue boat Snsm and to the Saint Barth Yacht Club. This year, they have decided to pay for a portable defibrillator for the hospital that will allow uninterrupted monitoring of vital functions.
