The first wind turbine on St. Barth is high in the hills of Lurin. It is hoped that these silent and pollution-free devices will replace noisy generators. This wind turbine can capture the wind from all directions without having to turn on its axis, which is often a source of breakdowns requiring repairs. This is long overdue. Nevis started using geothermal energy. Sometimes it takes a crisis to get things going.
