Frangipani

Has anyone heard about the 60 Condos that Frangi is building. Would appreciate any info.

We also have stayed at the Frangipani many times in the past, we were sort of saddened to learn they were purchased and did hear about the construction. We were also at Carimar in November 06 and toured the construction. It was a mess but should be nice when completed. Mead's Bay is the best beache we have found in the islands. Looking forward to our return in November!

We spent the week before Thanksgiving in Anguilla and stayed at the Frangipani. It's a beautiful property and the remodel made it better. The rooms are furnished very nicely, kitchens are stainless with granite counters, baths are glass tiled and granite counters, overall very nice. A nice addition was the infinity edge pool on the beach, not too deep but very refreshing while looking out over the Bay. No mention of the new condos when we spoke to the staff . The staff was as accomodating and friendly as ever. We ate some of the local spots, Roys, Ripples, Olivers, Smittys, Tasty's, La Trattoria to mention a few and all were outstanding. As this was our 20th visit, things are changing but it may take a few years to feel the full effect. We look forward to our 21st visit.

Has anyone stayed at Frangi since ownership changed and renovations started? What are your thoughts on the place? We've stayed there in the past and loved it..although it did need some work. We thought the location, set-up & prices couldn't be beat.

Frangipani has had a lot of improvements as described by the previous poster. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully done. There are also flat screen TV's, DVD players, and sound systems in the lounge. Very comfortable.

I am planning to visit Anguilla next summer.
