Dominica--I love it!

Postby Lloyd1wv » Thu Jul 20, 2006 1:52 pm

I spent a week in Dominica in June. This was the second trip there. We stayed at Sea Cliff Cottages, near Calibishie. Nice place to stay. Calibishie is a really neat, friendly place. --Mangos EVERYWHERE! I think I ate my weight in them!. Lots of other fruit all around also. If you want to truly experience a culture, undisturbed by tourism, this is a good place for it. Tourism, so far, has not messed up the island. It is still affordable. A visit here gives you a look at how their world really is. Lots of rainforest. Some pretty nice, secluded beaches, though Dominica is not the best place for beach experiences if that is a priority. No "night life" to speak of either. Just a relaxing time in an unspoiled Tropical Paradise.

I'd be happy to share more with anyone who might be interested in going to Dominica. Just give me an "E" mail.
