A number of hotels in Dominica may have to close their doors because they cannot meet their monthly obligations to the banks especially the Agriculture and Industrial Development Bank.
A source close to the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association told the Times that the Continental Inn and Vena’s Guest Inn have already been sold because of the financial pressure that they faced in recent times.
And the informed source also told the Times that Valley Inn in Copthall and Exotica are among a few other hotels in Dominica facing the financial squeeze from these financial institutions including the Aid Bank.
