One of the best lunch deals on the island can be found at the bakeries (boulangeries). You can buy a sandwich on a baguette (tuna, ham and cheese, chicken or crab) for about 2,30 euros. They also sell small quiche lorraines, slices of quiche, salads, other sandwiches (such as pan bagnat)and sides (such as tabouli, mushroom salad, etc). This is a cheap alternative to eating at one of the restaurants. You can also buy a cold drink, from beer to wine or something non-alcoholic.
