Carnival Celebration-A celebration of the arts. Music, dancing, food, and of course colorful gaiety in the streets. For info contact Cultural Development Foundation at (758) 452-1859.
July thru August-Kids' Safari Summer. A bi-weekly program in July and August for kids aged 5-14. This is a fun, educational camp that teaches kids about the natural resources, culture and beauty of St. Lucia. For more info call Saint Lucia National Trust at (758) 452-5005
August 1-Emancipation Day Celebration and National Heroes Day: The abolition of slavery in 1838 is celebrated throughout the island.
August 30-Feast of Saint Rose De Lima, pays honors to the beauty of the rose with king, queen and local dignitaries included. The party is bright, colorful and festive.
