The St Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association will be hosting Rhythm & Spice 2007 on Sunday April 29 2007. The activity which will be taking place at the Pigeon Island National Park from 1pm to 8pm and will exhibit the foods and delicacies which are served at member hotels as well as some of key the attractions offered by our tourism product.
A major highlight of Rhythm & Spice will be a careers showcase which will provide young St Lucians with information on the many fields of employment in the tourism industry.
This is the second time that the SLHTA will be hosting Rhythm & Spice which is mainly targeted at St Lucians and visitors who are invited to sample hotel foods and mixes all in an atmosphere of entertainment which will be provided by local bands and cultural groups most of which perform on the hotel circuit.
The SLHTA hopes Rhythm & Spice will grow into an annual event which will also offer an opportunity for employees of the tourism industry and the general public to socialize outside of the work environment and feel the St Lucia tourism product.
