I need help planning a trip

I am planning a trip to the Bahamas for sometime in the upcoming three months and don't know too much about them. If anyone has an helpful tips on traveling to the Bahamas (money saving tips would be extra appreciated) that they wouldn't mind sharing, that would be great. Thanks

Where in the Bahamas are you looking at going (Nassau, Freeport/Grand Bahamas Island, an out island)? Most tips would be island specific.
