From the Grenada Broadcasting Network:
A task force management team is now in place to ensure that Grenadians and visitors alike get the best in service, standard and safety during Cricket World Cup 2007.
One of the main objectives of the team is to ensure that the plans of the Ministry of Culture are executed with the highest standard as possible

The Ministry of Culture is hard at work with a number of stakeholders to ensure that visitors are kept entertained on their free days during cricket world cup 2007.
The Botanical Gardens will be transformed into an entertainment hub and information centre.

Each parish will have a day to display their history and culture and all of the main attraction sites on the island will come alive with entertainment.
Fish Friday organizers are planning to stage similar activities, which may be held on any day during the week.

The normally quiet parish of St. David also has a number of plans in the pipeline for this major event, while other parishes are also fine tuning their plans.
One of the major undertakings of the Culture department is the staging of a mini carnival in St George’s with visitors getting a taste of all aspects of the normal carnival activities

The task force is made up of police officials, representatives from the Ministry of Labour, Finance, Health and the Environment and the Grenada Bureau of Standards.
