CTA Kids Camp

Cayman Traditional Arts will be hosting a Kids Camp where children will experience arts traditional Caymanian crafts and games. The Camp will be held at the South Sound Park (House #2) from10-13 April (Week 1 Easter Activities), and 18-21 April (Week 2 Earth Week Activities), from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, for ages 5-9. Cost is $140/week; Lunch and snacks will be provided for $5/day. Contact 746-ARTS or 926-0119, or email cta@weststartv.com for more information.

National Trust Safari

The National Trust will be having a Blue Iguana Safari on 18 April from 9:00 am. Call 949-0121 for cost information and reservations.

Protect Cayman 5K Walk/Run

April 2006 is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and to mark the occasion the Young BPW Sexual Harassment & Stalking Taskforce will be hosting a 5k walk/run on Saturday 8 April at Calico Jacks (Public Beach) starting at 6:30 am for runners and 6:45 for walkers. National Trust

All are invited to attend the National Trust’s “Close Encounters of the Natural Kind’ on Saturday 8 April at 9:30 am, exploring natural settings which may give children balance and perspective. Meet some of the animals and plants in the Botanic Park. Adults and children welcome. $10 for Trust members; $15 for non-members; $5 for children. Prices include admission to the Park.

Art of Stamps

The Art of Stamps curated by Ivan Burges and David Bridgeman continues through 14 April 2006 at the National Gallery, which is open Weekdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Contact the Gallery at 945-8111 for more information.
