Spirit Air is fast becoming a master at offering good sales on flights. But Los Angeles is one of only three cities they serve on the West Coast, which makes it hard for us to cash in on their super-cheap one-way flights that are more commonly found to their East Coast destinations. So, when the detectives find international and cross-country one-way tickets for less than the price of a dinner for two at Nobu, our ears perk up.

Deals: This is the last day to cash in on $129 one-way flights to the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas and Boston. Fares to Fort Lauderdale and Detroit are only $99 each-way.

When: Book today, March 30, 2007 (by 8:59pm PST) for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between April 17 and May 22, June 5 and June 13 or August 21 and December 15, 2007.

More…Details: Based on a round-trip ticket with 14-day advance purchase. When we found a flight to and from the Cayman Islands in May, we also discovered a $99 tax and fees that nearly added up to the cost of another one-way fare—the total was $378 RT.
