No A/C in May . . . how bad will it be?

We are staying in a small villa the first week in May. There's no A/C, but it's up on a hill overlooking the water. How hot & stuffy will it be at that time of year? I don't mind not having A/C during the day but am afraid we won't be able to sleep at night without it . . .

If you have ceiling fans (most likely) and any breeze at all you should be fine. I lived up on a hill on St. Thomas for nearly 5 years with no AC, and I was fine in all but September most of the time - and I do not like to be warm when I sleep.

It is a not issue, especially if you are on land and on a hill above the water. Most houses on the hills actually have blankets as it can get cool.
