Hello Everyone- planning a trip to Cuba in March. Can anyone tell me what to expect regarding mosquitoes? My travel agent says they are not a problem in March, but figured that the people at this good forum would have more hands-on experience.
Also, I heard a frightening tale the other day about customers at El Senador holding ten and twenty dollar bills at the bar to get speedier service during the busy March Break time...of course I don't object to tipping, but this does seem a bit unreasonable. Any truth to this type of thing? thanks in advance for your responses.

We went in May last year and mozzies wasn't a major problem, the wife took mozzie spray containing deet as she is bug bait, this seemed to work pretty well, she also likes garlic and citrus fruits which are suppose to help stop bugs going for you
