River Tubing in Grenada

Postby KarenS » Thu Dec 22, 2005 8:22 am

I've tubed down the Delaware River which was GREAT fun, but tubing in paradise must be AWESOME!

According to Travel Weekly:
"Tourism Services Ltd. in Grenada is back with a new river tubing tour on the Balthazar River, 45 minutes from St. George's. The firm also offers mountain biking and jeep tours. Following an introduction and safety briefing, tour guides accompany tubers through tropical vegetation and wildlife down the swift river. The trip usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on group size. Trips begin at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2 p.m. Tubers must be eight years of age or older and in good physical condition. Tubes, life vests and a light refreshment are provided, but guests must bring their own water shoes, sun block and towels. For more information call (473) 444-5337. "
