CODRINGTON, Barbuda (Jan. 25, 2012) - Prince Albert II of Monaco, son of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace (aka, legendary American actress Grace Kelly), and his new wife, Charlene Wittstock, visited the exclusive nine-suite Lighthouse Bay Resort (www.LightHouseBayResort.com) in Barbuda on Jan. 5, 2012. The royal couple spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach and enjoying personalized meals prepared by Executive Chef Lennox Cadogan, who also had the honor of cooking for the late Princess Diana when she would visit Barbuda.

Apple Vacations has announced new non-stop flights to La Romana, Dominican Republic from JFK International Airport for the next year through October 2012. The flights on JetBlue Airways will depart on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 14 January through 24 October 2012, with convenient morning departures and afternoon returns.
JetBlue competes with American Airline departures by offering the first checked-bag free, and seat-back TVs with DIRECTV and Sirius/XM Radio.
Apple Vacations is offering three, four and seven-night stays at a choice of six resort hotels in the area, including the Dreams (owned by an Apple Vacations affiliate), Iberostar, Bahia Principe and Barcelo.
"Until now, La Romana was available via an hour-and-a-half transfer from Punta Cana," said Timothy Mullen, co-president of Apple Vacations.
