U.S.V.I. ANNOUNCES SAME DAY SERVICE FROM DENMARK ON DELTA

Some good news from the U.S. Virgin Islands today:

New flight time allows for seamless connection from Copenhagen to St. Thomas via Atlanta

ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, September 23, 2008 - The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism is pleased to announce same-day flight connections from Copenhagen, Denmark to St. Thomas, USVI on Delta Air Lines.

Following months of ongoing dialogue between the Department of Tourism and Delta, the airline will adjust the departure time for its new Atlanta/St. Thomas service to allow passengers to/from Copenhagen to make a same-day connection with the Territory. The connecting service will be offered four days per week via Atlanta, Georgia beginning December 20, 2008. Delta has indicated that the updated schedule will be reflected in the airline's timetable issued later this month.

The Department of Tourism anticipates a substantial increase in Danish visitors to the destination in 2009 and onward as a result of the connecting service. This service adds to an already impressive roster of European markets offering convenient same-day airlift to the Territory - through a connection in Atlanta. Round-trip service is also available between St. Thomas and Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Paris and Zurich.

In addition, to accommodate the strong demand from Danish visitors to experience St. Croix, Seaborne Airlines offers seaplane service between St. Thomas and St. Croix at a special rate available through a variety of European tour operators. Seaborne has agreed to allow for an additional 20 pounds of baggage - free of charge for those visitors who utilize the service. Also, Seaborne has offered to provide a late STT to STX departure based on the recent approval of airport-to-airport service on Seaborne Airlines which will allow the airline to offer same-day connecting service for Delta passengers between Cyril E. King (STT) airport on St. Thomas and Henry E. Rohlsen (STX) airport on St. Croix, based on demand.

Effective December 20, 2008, Delta Air Lines will offer the following weekly flights from Copenhagen to Atlanta, with connecting same-day service to St. Thomas. Same-day service from other European markets to Atlanta to St. Thomas is detailed below as well.
